Second Annual Cleveland Wine Festival set for June 29 & 30 The second annual Cleveland Wine Festival presented by Giant Eagle is set for June 29th and 30th, 2007, at downtown Cleveland 's Voinovich Park , adjacent to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
More than 20 wine exhibitors will feature samples of some 150 domestic, international and Ohio wines. Wine experts will speak on the latest wine trends and how to enjoy today's wine varieties. A number of Cleveland 's finest restaurants will be on site to perform cooking demonstrations where guests can learn how to pair wines with the appropriate food. Plus, local bands from various genres will provide live musical entertainment.
The event is produced and managed by Wine Festivals LLC which hosts similar wine festivals in downtown Chicago , Naperville , IL , and St. Louis , MO. Suitable for all ages, the Cleveland Wine Festival presents a variety of tasting, food & wine education and entertainment in a fabulous setting on Lake Erie .
Tickets to the event are $20 per adult in advance, and $25 at the door. Admission includes a souvenir wine glass, ten tasting, a Festival Program, food and wine seminars, cooking demonstrations, musical entertainment and an opportunity to purchase wine.
Group ticket packages are available for $15 per person for groups of 15 or more. Group tickets include all of the benefits of the regular adult ticket. Designated driver admission tickets are $10 (designated drivers are highly encouraged). Guests under 21 are free when a paid adult accompanies them.
Festival hours are Friday, June 29th from 4:00-10:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 30th from 2:00-10:00 p.m
