MWs Auction Their Finest Bottles

On Monday October 30th 2006, in London , Christies is hosting a unique charity wine auction on behalf of the Institute of Masters of Wine. The proceeds will be used to establish an endowment fund to finance future scholarships and bursaries, and extend the educational programme of the Institute, further improving the accessibility to MW courses throughout the wine world.

Michel Rolland is offering a magnum of Le Bon Pasteur; Olivier Humbrecht MW has donated 6 magnums of his Pinot Gris Rangen Clos Saint Urbain; and a case of 1963 Warre's port has been given by William Warre MW.

As well as a unique selection of wines, enthusiasts will also have the chance to bid for a range of dinners, tastings with MWs and holidays.
