Jean-Max Duraffourd
Jean-Max Duraffourd, a pharmacist by training, is a pioneer
in plant and herbal medicine. Over the past 30 years, he
has developed thousands of natural products for top rated
herbal and vitamin companies in Europe. As the president
and CEO of l’HERBIER DE PROVENCE, a chain of nutritional
and botanical boutiques with 157 locations in Europe, Jean-Max
created a worldwide network of people and companies specializing
in sourcing and distribution of natural-based products.
Jean-Max Duraffourd pioneered the use of Opuntia Ficus
(Prickly Pear Cactus) in the early 1990s, years before it

care line under the brand name; LIGNE DE VIE based on the
amazing natural extract. When Jean-Max and Bernard
Bubman met in Italy to discuss developing a natural
hangover formula, it was decided to include Prickly Pear
